The process

The process

Once you have decided on buying from us there are 3 ways you can place an order

Stock in furniture stores is constantly changing, many products are in stock and ready to go, but some are on a “back order system” from the suppliers. In the event that the item is on back order we will give you our best estimate of a delivery date.

We try to maintain stock of our key ranges so that we can deliver immediately.

Once you have selected a product your options are then to collect the product by your own means or arrange delivery through us.



Our warehouse is located at 80 Grove Ave Marleston and is open for collections Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.00pm




We run a delivery service throughout the greater Adelaide area. Costs range from $88 to $120. We can help you organise freight to other parts of South Australia, just ask us.


We will ring you with a delivery time either the morning of the delivery or the night before for a Saturday delivery. We will let you know a 2 hour time frame during which the delivery should occur.


The furniture is normally unpacked at the warehouse and checked over and then covered in furniture wraps and loaded on the truck with all other deliveries for the day.


The delivery service is a friendly and professional 2 man service where they will put the furniture into the position that you designate and will take away any unwanted packaging. Let us know before your delivery if the furniture has to go upstairs, through small doorways or if there is anything else that might make your delivery extra tricky. That way we can at least work out a plan with you.


There is no Cash on Delivery service so all orders must be paid for 24hrs prior to delivery.


Some furniture does come unassembled, such as beds, wall units and outdoor furniture. This makes it easier to deliver but means someone has to assemble it. If you would like us to help you with that, let us know and we’ll advise you of additional costs.


Other capital cities

We have included a flat rate $88 delivery charge to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney Metropolitan Areas. Please email us for a rate to all other areas enquiries@classictimber.com.au.


Our delivery’s interstate are through contractors and, as with other online purchases, will be to the ground floor door only. If you have other specific requirements please let us know. Products specified as flatpacked on our website will be shipped unassembled and you will need to assemble or arrange assembly.


Once your order has been shipped we will email you with the estimated delivery date as well as the tracking number for your goods.


*For shipping items, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee to deliver in circumstances whereby your chosen location causes significant increase to the cost of delivery. This may also apply to particularly large or heavy items which are expensive to freight.


In regard to insterstate deliveries we would ask that you allow up to 15 working days for in-stock product.
